IOSH – WORKING SAFELY
Introduction:
IOSH is Europe’s leading professional body for Health and Safety practitioners. The institute works to advance the safety, health and welfare of people at work and those affected by work activities.
Good health and safety standards rely on employers and employees working together to reduce risks and prevent accidents and ill health arising from work activities. An essential element of any safe system is the knowledge and attitude of employees, and this demands proper training in the basics of health and safety, as well as specific training for individual tasks.
Objectives:
To make delegates aware of their responsibilities for safety, under relevant legislation, towards themselves, colleagues and others affected by work activities and to enable them to contribute to any health and safety management system.
Who Should Attend:
Working Safely is a one-day course for staff from any sector with no supervisory or managerial responsibility. It provides a grounding in the essentials of health and safety.
